He earned an estimated $17,149,243 in the 2010 – 2011 NBA season. He started off in the NBA in 2003, earning just over $4 million in his first season. He was also earning around $4 million until his third season and then Lebron James’ salary hit an estimate of $5,828,000 in his fourth year.

What’s more surprising is that his salary more than doubled in his fifth year, earning an estimate of $13,041,250. As he became more popular over the years, his salary rose and rose until it reached the figure he is earning now as a professional basketball player.

The figures do not include the amount he earns through endorsement deals and other entertainment contracts. He also worked on a documentary entitled “More Than A Game” which discusses he and other players’ lives in their high school.

He earned more money by signing major endorsement contracts. He is also a well-known Nike endorser and he definitely earned loads of money from that deal. His salary hikes up every season and it may hike up some more the next season of the NBA.
